Xpress Music Group was honored to be on location for Frozene Lott Hayes' photo session on Saturday, September 13th, 2026, at 5380 Studios in Stone Mountain, Georgia. 

Our President and CEO, James C. Birdsong, Jr., and Edrica Edwards, A&R Director of Xpress Music Group, were present as Emily Heath Photography, one of the premier photographers in the metro Atlanta region, captured the images.

This photo session is preparation for Frozene's upcoming EP release in 2027. Regular updates will be provided.

FROZENE LOTT HAYES TO RECEIVE ALUMNI ICON AWARD AT THE 2026 PRAYZE FACTOR AWARDS

Xpress Music Group recording artist Frozene Lott Hayes continues to receive accolades throughout the United States. She will be honored as the recipient of the Alumni Icon Award during Season 19 of the 2026 Prayze Factor Awards on Saturday, September 19th, 2026. The ceremony will be held at the FDCC Event Center in Morrow, Georgia. 

According to Dr. Teresa Jordan, Founder of the Prayze Factor Awards, "We are looking forward to celebrating this amazing woman of God and how she has been and continues to be a leader in the inspired artists movement and a long-time advocate of the Prayze Factor Awards."

XPRESS MUSIC GROUP WINS GOSPEL LABEL OF THE YEAR AT THE 2026 32ND ANNUAL GOSPEL CHOICE MUSIC AWARDS

Xpress Music Group is the winner of the 2026 32nd Annual Gospel Choice Music Awards for Gospel Record Label of the Year. This marks a milestone for the GRAMMY®-considered, Billboard chart-topping, and multi-award-winning record label in the Gospel music industry, with our extensive resume.  

The winners and honorees were announced during the ceremony on Saturday, July 18th, 2026, at Covenant Church ATL in Decatur, Georgia. The label was first nominated in 2025 for Gospel Record Label of the Year and advanced to the finalist stage.

According to our President and CEO, James C. Birdsong, Jr., "We were not expecting this at all. While Xpress Music Group was honored to advance as a finalist, the win caught us by surprise. We are grateful to God for this opportunity, and it is not taken for granted. Dr. Birdsong was honored with the Gospel Industry Award during the 2025 31st Annual Gospel Choice Music Awards for his contributions to the Gospel music industry throughout the United States and abroad. XPRESS MUSIC GROUP RELEASES LILLIAN LILLY'S LONG-AWAITED MUSIC VIDEO "AT THE CENTER OF GRACE"

Lillian Lilly, a legendary multi-award-winning national Gospel recording artist, who is best known as the principal vocalist and charter member of the GRAMMY®-nominated, Stellar, Dove, and Soul Train Music award-winning Mississippi Mass Choir, can now include another edition to her extensive resume. Xpress Music Group is pleased to announce the release of Lillian's first-ever concept solo music video for her award-winning single, "At the Center of Grace," written by James C. Birdsong, Jr. and Shonda English, in her more than 35 years in the Gospel music industry.

To celebrate the milestone, Xpress Music Group decided to produce an official music video during tapings in Jackson, Mississippi, with additional storylines. Produced by JB Productions of Madison, Mississippi, the music video is directed by James C. Birdsong, Jr., Tiffany Coleman (Miz Tiffany), and Justin M. Burks, a team of nationally known award-winning figures in the Gospel music industry. Originally filmed in April 2024, the project features the JSU Ensemble of Jackson State University.

The music video is already receiving traction. It can be viewed on Lillian Lilly's official artist YouTube channel (@officiallillianlilly) and Xpress Music Group's official YouTube channel (@xpressmusicgroup). The single is available for download on all major platforms such as YouTube, Amazon Music, Spotify, and iTunes.

FROZENE LOTT HAYES SIGNS WITH XPRESS MUSIC GROUP FOR UPCOMING EP PROJECT IN 2027

July 18th, 2026 - Via Xpress Music Group 

Frozene Lott Hayes, a multi-award-winning national Gospel recording artist who is best known for the chart-topping singles "It's Praying Time" and "Healer," has been signed with Xpress Music Group. This marks a major milestone for her, more than 40 years in the Gospel music industry.

With her resume of awards and nominations, television appearances on Bobby Jones Gospel, chart placements, and radio broadcasting, her upcoming EP project on Xpress Music Group will offer various genres of music from traditional Gospel to praise and worship, quartet, hip hop, and CCM, alongside concept music videos. 

Xpress Music Group has already organized a collaborative team of award-winning songwriters, producers, and featured artists who have an extensive resume from the GRAMMY®, Stellar, Dove, Texas Gospel Music Excellence, and Kingdom Image Awards, Billboard chart-topping hits, and RIAA-certified gold and platinum records to their name. Xpress Music Group plans to have a Gospel choir from one of the top HBCUs to collaborate with Frozene on the project for a 2027 release.
